CONTACTCarers Frequently Asked Questions.

• What does it do for us?
  Saves you time and money and centralises all carer and contact information so it's always the latest information you are accessing.
  
  
• How much is it going to cost us?
  A one of fee of £1299 and then £150 a year for hosting and support. That includes comiled source code should you which to host the website. In short no release fees to buy your own infomation
  
  
• Can i try before i purchase it?
  A demo version of CONTACTCarers is available here.
  
  
• What if it's nearly but just not quite what we need.
  In the demo version all administration functions have been removed, and the user accounts are simplified. Tracked and stored information such as Illness, Referer, Contact Types and more can all be configured on an individual basis as an administrator. However, CONTACTCarers is a bespoke and individual system and can be altered to suit your requirements.
  
  
• How long does it take.
  Usually around 10 working hours. We generally "brand" CONTACTCarers to your Companies Corporate ID and colours, and set up the Admin are to include all relevant Contact Type and Illness etc. Bespoke changes may take longer will take longer, but you will be advised at time of discussion of requirements how long this maybe.
  
  
• What can the admin user do?
• The demo version shows only Development Worker Finctions and The reporting Facilities. In the full version there is also an Administrator level of access with greater functionality. These functions include; Add/Edit/Suspend Users, Illness Types, Contact Types, Referers, and Age Ranges. This allows the Administrator to customise CONTACTCarers to suit THe Caring Support Groups exact needs.
  
  
• Is it difficult to use?
  We've tried to make CONTACTCarers a poerful timesaving solution that will save you time and money. It's as simple as possible to opperate and users do not require any advanced skills with a computer. If you can browse the internet you can use CONTACTCarers. Still not convinced? • What else is included?
  CONTACTCarers needs to be hosted on a ASP.NET 3.5 enabled server running SQLserver Express. In most cases Caring Support Organisations websites are hosted of free, or very cheap hosting solutions that do not allow such advanced functionality. If your Carers Support Organisation does not currently have a website, or if the currenlt website hosting is unable to run CONTACTCarers then we can provide suitable hosting for £80 per year. Included with that hosting is the ability to host upto domain names, and the facilities to handle upto 20 email addresses if required.

  If after reading this and trying out the demo version you still aren't sure if CONTACTCarers is right for your Carer Support Organisation then we generally have no problem coming to see clients personally. We are based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and are happy to travel. Especially if there's surf nearby!
